I’m so tired of these angry “Batman vs. Superman” dynamics that keeps popping up in movies. Batman and Superman are best friends, ride or die, and will roast each other on sight. If Bruce Wayne said, “Clark, drink this kryptonite chocolate anchovie juice and I’ll give you a dollar.” Clark would be like “sure bud!”

If Clark needed a private jet, even though he can literally fly, he would deadass walk into the bat cave, take it, and leave an IOU note. And would address it to Alfred instead of Bruce.

Trying to communicate with my future morning self is like setting an elaborate trap for an unsuspecting zombie like

if I put my phone alarm on full volume and vibrate and move the charger so I can put it on this out-of-reach metal surface, I can startle her awake. Probably. Then if I securely duct tape this caffeinated chocolate bar to it, it will provide a challenging situation and make her mushy little brain work extra hard to figure out how to turn the alarm off. Then she might go for the chocolate while she’s turning off the loud noises. With luck, she’ll consume the whole thing. 20 minutes of bliss then boom, physiology kicks in and the caffeine reaches her brain. Gentlemen, this just might work.

It didn’t work.

A tragedy in two acts

Nothing more wholesome than loving and supportive parents

“I don’t get it, but I’m willing to feel awkward and embarrassed until I figure it out so that you never have to feel awkward or embarrassed with me” is peak parenthood.

These cupcakes are indeed kinda gay

I love this, because not everyone knows how to be supportive, but the first step is to try your best.

The Computer Room is such a weird concept nowadays but growing up in the 90s/00s we really had a whole ass room dedicated to our computer. Anthropologists 1000 years from now are gonna think we worshiped computers so much we had shrine rooms for them

we renamed it an office to try and pretend but we all know its a computer shrine still

To any upcoming freshmen: don’t date seniors

When I was about to start high school, my mom told me that senior boys were grown men, and if any were interested in me then I should ask myself why they, as adults, were interested in a kid right out of middle school. And why they couldn’t get someone their own age.

Be safe, kiddos. A year counts a lot more when you’re younger, and the kind of senior who wants to date a freshman is well aware of this.

My fave thing about Black Panther is that they had the perfect setup for the Jabari to be the villains. The challenge, the black and white aesthetic, the toothy masks and secluded mountain lair surrounded by ice and snow and rock… and instead, they turn out to be cool warrior dudes led by a nerd who makes ill-timed (and hilarious) jokes and who’s only stated issue with T’Challa’s reign (besides an old feud that’s been pretty much been left alone for a couple hundred years) is that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea for a sixteen year old to be running all of Wakanda’s R&D department, which considering he’d never met Shuri before is a very valid thing to be worried about.
