This gif is fucking me up because it looks like the branch clips through the railing on the right-hand side.
No it’s just that it’s harder to perceive movement coming towards you on a 2D space. The branch leans forward when it hits the railing but it’s hard to perceive. Same thing with that video where it looks like the kids reflection starts walking before he does. It appears that way because the reflections movement are horizontal across the frame, while the movement of the kid is coming right at you. The movement is harder to perceive.
