honestly my favorite new phenomenon is the haiku bot coming in at the end of super serious posts. it’s like watching a supervillain come to a crushing defeat and then getting run over by a roomba.
The haikubot does not detect actual haiku. The artistry of haiku is that every line contains a thought or image that can be separated and still understood with the poem as a whole coming together to form a bigger idea or image.
The haikubot just detects sentences of 5-7-5 syllables and calls it a day. It’s an insult to the art form. Reading an actual haiku can be a spiritual experience.

hey guys, we’re really going through the shit again. my mom just started a new job so things are looking up a little, but the bills are still outweighing the money shes making, so we are really sinking right now and cant cover all that we need to survive.
i only have three weeks or so until school starts up, and i still havent been able to buy anything that i need because all my money from my new job has been going to immediate necessities like food for my family and new clothes, so every time i get any paycheck, its pretty much already spent.
i am also 100% available for art/writing commissions, and samples can be sent of both for anyone interested. thank you guys so much for all your help!!! ♥
of course, right after i made this post, i got a call from my mom and found out that our car broke down while she was going to work, so she had to take $250 from me to get a rental car.
