Save your kitties, we all know they eat everything anyway.

REBLOG TO SAVE THE KITTIES!

IMPORTANT FOR KITTY OWNERS

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT!!! MY CAR WAS CHOKING ON SOME RIBBON THAT GOT LEFT ON THE GROUND AND THESE TIPS SAVED ONE OF MY PRECIOUS FUR BABIES’ LIVES.

THIS is SO valuable. Knowing how to keep your cat alive before going to the vet can give you a chance in cases of long distances, OR quick situations that need help.

Another bonus, if your cat has eaten something and it is sticking out of their anus, DO NOT EVER PULL ON IT. Take the cat to to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Ribbons and long string can get wrapped around their intestines, and while it looks like a pull-cord when it’s sticking out of their butt, trying to pull it out is the LAST thing you should do. I’ve been told to cut any long lengths so the cat can’t get it, but so a vet can still see it, but if vets or aspiring vets have alternative advice I’d stick with that. Either way, DO NOT pull on it.
