hey, my name is nellie, my boyfriend is 17 and i’m 18, 4 months ago i moved about 1000 miles to be with him from TX to GA; we moved out of his abusive family’s home in august and have our own place now, but we’ve been having a really hard time getting on our feet. as i said before, my boyfriend’s family is abusive and absent; they do not provide any financial support for us, and my parents cannot afford to do so. i’m employed and try to work as much as i can, but with my current lack of transportation & the fact that the place i work at cant give me sufficient hours (they dont let me work more than 14 hours per week right now), i’m not making enough money to pay my bills, much less help my boyfriend with his (he’s in college full-time and doesn’t have a lot of time to work).
in the next month, when my boyfriend gets access to a car, i will be able to find another job and bring in more money; he will be able to work more, too. that said, i’m hoping to finally become at least somewhat financially stable in november. for now, though, i need help; i don’t like asking for things, but honestly i’m at a loss. i can’t lose my house, and i really need help. please reblog this post or donate if you can. thank you so much.
